Hot on the heels of the new Whiskey Barrel-Aged Coffee is yet another big announcement. Writer's Block Coffee® is excited to introduce the first dark roast to its Table of Contents, called Deadline Dark.
Go Dark to Hit That Word Count
This new dark roast is full of body and bold flavor, perfect for those who prefer a little noir in their cup. Taste testers gave it the thumbs up for its balance, too. Not too acidic. Not too light.
Unlike the original Writer's Block Coffee and Whiskey Barrel-Aged Coffee, Deadline Dark is the first multi-origin coffee. It pulls together six varieties of coffee beans into one blend. It's not easy to make all those coffees work together, but it's worth the extra effort.
A Secret Ingredient
There's a little secret in that mix that's there with writers in mind, too. When you're working against the clock to meet a deadline on a dark and stormy night, a little extra caffeine can come in handy.
That's why one of those six coffees is an organic Robusta. Compared to Arabica coffee beans, Robusta contains roughly twice the amount of caffeine per bean.
The extra kick isn't enough to have you hallucinating vengeful ghosts or Martian visitors, but it should provide you with a little boost to get you over the hump.
Yes, this gives away the secret, but sometimes you have to tell instead of show.
Some Things Never Change
Just like the other coffees, Deadline Dark is roasted to order and specialty grade (top 5% of coffees on the planet). That means you're getting the freshest, highest-quality coffee around.
You work too hard to deserve anything less.
